Kevin E. Woods MD MPH

Dr. Woods is Chief of Interventional Endoscopy, Gastroenterology & Nutrition at Cancer Treatment Center of America® (CTCA) near Atlanta. Dr. Woods completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, was then a Clinical and Research Fellow in Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Harvard Medical School, and completed his Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. His studies have focused on advanced endoscopic imaging platforms for Barrett’s Esophagus and bile duct, esophageal, pancreatic and colorectal cancers. Prior to joining CTCA, Dr. Woods was Director of Advanced Endoscopic Imaging, Informatics and Innovation at Emory University School of Medicine where he developed the first Optical Endomicroscopy and Bariatric Endoscopy Program in the State of Georgia.
